Mattina di Natale, la casa è ancora assorta nel sonno, dopo la Santa Messa di mezza notte e qualche brindisi, il ritorno è stato tardo. Mentre bevo una calda tazza di caffè mi soffermo a guardare fuori dalla finestra, è un peccato che non stia nevicando il giorno di Natale, una cosa che mi è sempre piaciuta. Da due giorni oramai piove ininterrottamente, un clima forse più autunnale che invernale.
Aspetto che Serena si alzi e intanto spulcio alcune immagini rimaste in attesa di elaborazione da tempo immemore. Tra queste ci sono anche le foto della vacanza in Corsica che abbiamo fatto la scorsa estate, belle immagini, bei posti. Così, in barba a questo tempo da mezza stagione inizio a sistemare colori e saturazione

Christmas morning, the house is sleeping after this late night, the holy Mess, the cheers and greetings. I’m drinking a cup of hot coffee meanwhile I’m looking out of the window and outside it is raining, I’d prefer much more a cold white snow, I ever loved the snow at Christmas. Since two days it’s non stop raining.
Waiting for Serena wake up, I’m taking a look at some pictures in my pc that are in queue for postproduction since this past summer. The holiday we had in Corsica: beautiful images,beautiful places. I’m starting the editing of colors and saturation.

Durante questo viaggio abbiamo visitato la parte a nord, il cosidetto “dito” e buona parte della zona centrale con particolare attenzione alla costa ovest che offre dei paesaggi delle spiagge davvero interessanti. Dalla sabbia bianca e finissima ai ciottoli neri e levigati, fino alla zona montuosa dell’interno ricca di gole e corsi d’acqua che molto mi ricorda la vicina Val Grande.
During this trip we visited the northern part of Corsica that is tell “finger” and a good portion of the central part and west coast that offers beautiful landscape and beaches. From white thin sand to black cobbles, to the rocky internal area full of canyon and river that remember myself of Val Grande near home.
Era il periodo idale per prendersi un po’ di tempo dalla quotidianità, Serena era appena entrata nel secondo trimestre della gravidanza e di certo un po’ di aria di mare non poteva farle che bene, inoltre quella pancia che cresce era un’ottima attrativa fotografica!
It was a perfect moment to keep time for ourself: Serena entered the second three-month period of pregnancy and sea’s air was certanly a good thing for her and the baby. For me, she was a perfect subject for portrait!

Tra una nuotata e l’assaggio dei mille formaggi di capra e pecora dell’isola c’è stata l’occasione per qualche istantanea e momenti di buona luce.
The time passed by a swim and a taste of goats’ and sheeps’ cheese, meanwhile we had a good light and snapshot opportunity.
Dopo questo intermezzo estivo speriamo che il tempo atmosferico reale la smetta di giocare all’autunno e ci porti una bella nevicata. A me non resta che augurare buon Natale a tutti, spero possiate passare delle festività felici e rilassanti!! A presto!
